Loop Lab
The built-in sets get you playing. Loop Lab lets you play yourself: write melodies, program drums, sample anything, then perform it all live on the main screen.

Step Sequencer
Tap notes onto the grid, slide to hold them, and stack chords. Pick a key and a scale (minor, phrygian or major) and every note fits. Loops run 1, 2 or 4 bars, with copy and paste and an octave shift for each bar.

Bring in a sound and Cut Loops does the hard part. It detects the tempo (tap it in if it guesses wrong), snaps your selection to 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars, and fits it to the beat.
